HAVING CAR ISSUES?
Interesting how many different car "dramas" there are going on in the Dena. Now, it's a known fact teenagers can be pretty crappy drivers, but it's just the way they learn the road. And when a older person flips them off, they just tell themselves they're too damn fast for them and they need to get off the road because they are a menace. But could that be used against the teenagers as well?
Funny how car problems seem to lead us to a recent story about a student who attends Pasadena High School This year, a student by the name of Marc* decided to drink before driving home from school and with two friends in the car, went around a garbage truck and hit a parked Honda. None of the students inside the car (including the driver Marc*) were wearing seat belts at the time. The Honda was pretty banged up, but not as bad as the students. One suffered a concussion, among other injuries, from being thrown into the windshield nearly breaking the glass completely. The other student in the car who was female hit her nose and almost broke it, and suffered bruising. Though the driver did get away with out a DUI, it makes you wonder how much he would learn from that incident. His friends could have died, as well as himself, and many students were affected by the news of it. The close friends of Marc* had the statement that "it really wasn't Marc's* fault completely. We weren't wearing seat belts either". Friends backing him up, you also have to think about the situation.. When you get into a accident normally it's one of the drivers fault or the drivers car's fault. Since we know of no malfunctions to his car prior the impact, and he did hit a parked car that was vacant at the time, it would be fair to assume that it was indeed Marc's* fault. Marc* showed up to school the next following day w/ pictures of the damage to both cars. Though Marc* claimed he felt remorse and thanks for the safety of his friends, less than a week later was bragging about having Sky Vodka in the trunk of a car and he was going to drink it after school with the owner of the car. You'd have to wonder how self serving one can be. A few weeks earlier, Marc* got out of school to find one of his tires slashed in the student parking lot. No one was held responsible for that to this day. So I think there are 3 valuable lessons Marc* should have learned from these incidents..
#1. Don't drink and drive and if you do, don't go around trash trucks at a fast speed. Especially ones you can't see around.
#2. Don't park in the front parking lot if you have a really nice car to a decent looking one. People just have a bad day and that stuff ends up being the result of it.
#3. Get a new truck because this one seems to be bad luck..
* means names have been changed for persons benefit and safety of not looking like a complete moron.

We so live a life full of gossip. Kind of like Laguna Beach, but without the cameras. There is never a day with out drama. Why? Because we all hate each other for one reason or another. They call each other names. They hit each other. They cry. And it all repeats. Day after day, week after week. This is what we call home.
